I am starting to write a story and I know the kinds of scenes I want to include but I am having a hard time developing the plot. I want it to be a love story but I want there to be an overall underlying mystery surrounding the couple and their circumstances. When the mystery is eventually solved their relationship is tested but in the end it works out ok.
I was thinking that to start something mysterious would happen to the girl. As she is trying to figure it out she meets the guy and they become good friends. He however is mysterious himself and even though he seems to be helping the girl, he might not be. This is all I got! I don't have any idea what the whole mysterious thing could be! help please
