I can't believe one of the kids in Slumdog Millionaire is actually a poor kid and he hasn't seen any of the money that the movies' made and they're PLANNING on getting money for him Later???

in my opinion this is another form of child labor...its so messed up

Yeh its sad if they havn't paid the kids , its not fair even if the kid is not poor.
And come to think of it, all advertises / commercials/ movies with kids in them are another form of child labor aren't they?
But no one cares as long as the kids enjoy it, get famous and earn money :)
 
I agree...I our world today it just seems as if you can see the line between the upclass and the lower much clearer now, but that still doesnt give the upper shame from taking advantage of the other 85%...its a shame. The kid did a wonderful job too!
 
Maybe the kid isnt gay and is getting discriminated against?

Everyone who is not Gay is a HATER if you ask people like Sean Penn and that sort of Hollywood ilk.
 
A lot of child actors actually sue their parents for their earnings. They also get emancipated. It's sad because the parents got them into the acting biz in the first place, then they milk them for all they're worth. Look at what happened to Macully Culkin (sp) and Gary Coleman.
It's sad and I think they need to re-examine these laws because kids are being exploited.

yes I have heard that. Sad to say, Hollywood is bullies, they knew what they were doing, the sad part is the kids didn't know what they were doing and now since the media has wind of it hollywood has to give away some of their milllions made....this isn't the first person to get ripped off and not the last. I hope he gets his fair share!
