X-FTA dongle router? What is it?

A friend of mine gave me a picture of it, but i'm not good in computers and was wondering what kind of router this is ... can someone tell me exactly what it's used for ... i believe he wants it to get satellite or something. He tried the big stores (best buy and so on, but could not find any). He asked me to help him out, but i'd like to know what i'm looking for in order to see where i can find it in the city
