XVID video codec help?

I'm trying to view a video resume on resume-post.net. On the video, it says "XVID video codec required to play media". I clicked the link and downloaded xvid, but i still cannot view the video on resume-post.net. Does anyone know how to solve this problem? thanks

I would not have downloaded the codec.

I went to resume-post.net and downloaded what you are talking about:

Xvid_130_RC1_02012011_Setup.exe

I submitted the file to virustotal.com and some anti-virus programs flagged it as being adware. You can view the scan results here:

Generally, if a particular video or site tells you you need to download some special plug-in or codec first...be suspicious and avoid it.
