Tigers got stomped in game 1 of 2006 too
What does 2009 have to do with the Yankees? Can you really take pride in cheating?
 
I pretty sure it's 2011 not 2006. I hate it when people compare games/ series to the past. The Tigers and the Yankees don't have the same players as they did in 06. The teams don't have the same coaching staff as they did in 06. Stop comparing things from the past to the present.
 
So you're saying that JV uses Pine tar, and the team just throws the ball all over the place and Inge K's on the very last at bat...
 
Yeah, wasn't that the year the Tigers lost the World Series to the Cardinals? As I recall you guys got crushed by a team that won 83 games in the regular season.

I remember when you were saying the Lions' 0-16 season is "in the past", and we need to focus on the now. Funny stuff.
 
Listening to Tigers fans carry on about 2006 is a joke, you guys didn't even win the WS that year, you lost to the 83 win Cardinals in the WS. Using this argument against Yankees fans just because they beat them that year is also a joke because neither team is even the same team as 2006. This is 2011.

Why is it that other teams fans always depend on their past successes against the Yanks?! It's 2011 pal, play the games for this year, not then!
