...Macau, Singapore)? I'm currently in the Philippines and I wanted to visit a neighboring country while I'm out here. Just wanted to get your opinions on which Asian country you think is best to visit. Since a number of people from the Philippines travel throughout Asia I thought I'd ask and get your perspective.
 
I've always wanted to go to Japan because I really admire the culture there. But out of those choices, I guess I'd prefer China. I'm not familiar with anything to do in Macau, but I've heard Hong Kong is nice.
 
South Korea is OK but expensive and not so many people there speak English.

Macau is more about casinos and other nefarious activity's. It's interesting for a day side trip from Hong Kong.

Singapore is great, somewhat expensive if you like a large city you will enjoy it.

Hong Kong. I like Hong Kong it has history a lot of things to do and see lodging is kinda high but transportation and good Chinese food are reasonable if you shop around.

How about mainland China? The Terracotta Army, Great Wall many other very interesting things to see there.

Vietnam or Thailand? Great food not so expensive to stay.
