Yesterday i asked about dog novels?

ok. yesterday i asked about dog novels. well what r some good ones that u have read. i have read all the classics like Old Yeller, Big Red, Where the Red Fern Grows. i have read The Story of Orson by John Katz and Marley and Me by John Grogan. i am looking for a new one to add to my list of books to read (my list is currently empty) so what have u read that isnt on this list. i am looking more for novels rather than training books. so help would be great.
