Dude if you think buying a skittles and a snapple are suspicious under these conditions, man, I don't know where your head's at. Yes I own a hoodie. Several in fact. So does my mother. So does my grandmother dude. Jeez.

Let me say, that as I have always maintained, this was the result of two people being at the wrong place, at the wrong time, with the wrong attitudes.

To defame one's character is to equally defame the other

The issue for me, if I were on the jury, I would not be looking upon character on anyone (Although my last posts were demonstrating how defaming each character can get out of control from the evidence presented.)

Long ago, I thought it was going to be one of two outcomes-Not Guilty or Manslaughter

Because I was not in the courtroom, I was not on the jury reviewing; I can only ACCEPT the verdict. And this is one of the main issues

Now, the REAL problem is like a group of fans from one team rooting against a group of fans from the other. One loses. One wins. The losers try to produce reason, such as bad calls, etc., on why the other side won.

Both fans get into it.

I rather not be a fan for either side while waiting for the "season" to be over just so I can get peace.

I grow weary of the "Ifs" or "What Ifs", "He should not have", "He should have".

I have mentored and befriended many ethnic minorities spanning 45 years+-. I have been profiled while either going to visit them from their peers, or by authorities when hanging around them, or by myself for what I was wearing, how long was my hair, per not appearing to a general consensus. I feel torn between two feelings: Anger for being hassled, or in some instances, I have a complex my ethnic friends and I deserve the profile-to an extent-based upon actually performing the prejudices so applied

Do not judge unless ye be judge upon.
If you behave in a certain way, I think Karma will come around





BTW, people my mother's and grandma's ages I know, dont have hoodies, they have fannies

We don't know what Martin's attitude was, and he isn't around to tell us. It's pure speculatuion on your part to try to tell us what it was.

We can probably deduce more about Zimmerman's attitude from what he has said - although we probably need to read between the lines a fair bit.

This makes no sense at all.

That's ironic, given how you seem to be at pains to label Martin a 'thug' and to build up a complex yet entirely fanciful picture of the crime spree that you suggest he was on, which somehow mitigates Zimmerman apparantly initiating a confrontation with him. You don't come across as being impartial , you seem to be very much 'batting for one side'.

So Zimmerman is innocent until proven guilty, but Martin is just plain old guilty because he bought Iced Tea and Skittles - neither of which is an active compound in any drug.

To be fair, though I don't agree with 47MM's views exactly, he did post a link as to how they can be combined with cough syrup and used as a recreational drug. It's mostly called "purple" around where I'm at, but it's basically combining OTC cough syrup with fruity drinks and sugary candy to take the bitter taste away. Martin did admit to using it on his Facebook posts to a friend of his, so it's not an unfair accusation.

So every kid carrying soda and candy is plotting to make lean? That's a fair assumption? Or is he just desperately trying to make the real Trayvon Martin fit his caricature of Trayvon Martin?

I would have to find the link and read it.

However it depends on who did the study and what point they were trying to prove.

And just because more people are getting Adalia bipunctata does not make it a bad thing.


PS: What is up with the word shot it came up as masked profanity. The word I typed was shot and not profanity.

If you're a young adult that admits to using it (as he did on his Facebook posts) and has the ingredients for it, then yes it isn't unfair to assume that he could be using them for those purposes.

Think of it in different terms then. If a guy admit to using crack and has a Chore Boy copper wool cleaning pad on his person (which acts as a screen in homemade crack pipes) is it unreasonable to assume that the guy is probably not going to use it to scrub some dirty pots?

They're not comparable examples. Kids eat candy all the time. It's far more likely that he bought some skittles because he wanted some candy.

But, screw it, let's just blame the dead teenager.

If it was just one or the other, definitely believable. But both together, sorry if I have my doubts. Why are the two not comparable? People scrub their dishes all the time too.

I can't speak to the dispatchers experiences personally, as they weren't my own; one worked in Washington and one in Utah, both young women. I can speak to my experiences with the Nevada police ignoring guns and riots though, as I was there and liaising with the police before and after. Hopefully Dorner did lie and make that all up.

I think most police do care too much to ignore emergency calls, absolutely. I also believe there are some precincts who do not act professionally and have cultures where ignoring 911 calls is socially acceptable. I'm confident they're a minority and do not represent honorable and professional LEOs/departments.

Obviously, it had to be one of conflict, as he was the one on top in the fight




Just showing how people can "paint a picture of character". People seem to only to this against Zimmerman

Or one being suspended for having marihuana residue in a bag or pipe thus being suspended and having to be sent to his father's home

But, be it as it may, I dont care if a examination of the deceased is unpleasant, if people are going to paint the character of someone (per GZ), then I supplied what people sent me of TM






Nope. Because many believe that GZ should have been convicted which is why the public outcry for a trial

Bottom line-
He was found not guilty.
I was expecting that or Manslaughter

Repeating uninformed speculation is just as unhelpful as making it up in the first place.

According to Zimmerman, that is. Is there any evidence to corroborate his account? My understanding is that it's just his word for what happened.

I did hear that people have accused the police of 'losing' some evidence, but whether there is any truth in that I have no idea.

So you are 'painting a picture' of Trayvon Martin in order to introduce some 'balance', is that it?
