There's no much very much more details to put down.

Usually I can start it than let it warm up for a few minutes. Now it wont even start. I tried holding the ignition down, than pressing the gas a little to get the engine working. But as soon as i give of the ignition the car shuts off.

my question is what automatic 4 speed would work with a 1976 390 motor f150 and 1979 351 m400 the 79 is a 250 ??

i decided to buy that kind of porsche but i am not sure. it is about 90,000 miles and looks fine. the only thing i am afraid of is the parts, are they expensive? does such car need lots of reperations? do i have to spend lots of money for it? IS THAT A GOOD CHOICE? thank you!

31mm carb work aswell? specific carb= 32mm Mikuni econo-jet carburetor sled= 1979 kawasaki drifter 440 im not sure if i'm correct, but i think the 31/32mm measurements are just for the port to the air filter so i think a 31mm carb would work on the sled... any tips and/or pointers are welcome

operation? My idle is high& trans slips bad.? actually i changed modulators already and it seems worse than before ,this started after i replaced the u-joints and while down there i saw the cross member was loose that supports the trans so i tightened it and that was it. is this maybe a vacuum...

I have a full float 14 bolt rear axle out of a 1979 Suburban. I was just wondering if it would fit on a 2000 Chevy 2500 pickup?

...it? This is a follow up to my previous ? I guess my best bet is ti just replace the distributor. Does the coil wire and ignition module come with it? Also how hard would it be to replace? I do have an HEI ignition with the vacuum. I can tell that much.

ok I have a dodge ram van and I notice the every time a start the engine there is a lot of black smoke,but after a while it goes away, if I shut it off when it starts again its the same thing.....black smoke then nothing due to this problem it can't pass the smoke check does anybody have an idea...
