ok, so here's the deal, i got this 1979 volvo 244 dl for free, the owner said that the timing belt is bad, but i took the plastic cover off to see if it was, oh and it was turning over before i did that, but the timing belt was fine, so i put the plastic cover back on and now it's not starting...

In my opinion, the 1979 version was alot better. It felt like true horror of a family being slowly tore apart over time. The 2005 version, to me, felt like less horror and more suspense, which kills the "Horror" in "The Amityville Horror".
