i just got a new phone the LG ally from verizon and for some reason it just stopped sending messages. People are sending me messages but my outgoing messages are not being received by anyone next to the message i sent a little mail envelope with a red timer is next to all of them that i sent...

All of a sudden my text message and notification has stopped working on my LG Ally. The volumes are turned up but when a text comes in, I dont hear the notification sound that I have assigned to the the incoming text or email. What do I do? It was working perfectly fine until now.

LG Ally is expected to get android 2.2 but no time line for the update has been released. Would I be able to manually update the Ally to 2.2 without damaging my phone?

My Lg is stuck on an application and will not let me go to anything else. ive tired turning it off with taking out the battery and the end button. Is there a way to reset the whole phone like a button or something.
