If you could afford it, I would definitely go with a Kicker amp. Although you have an Alpine amp that is already 1000 watts, the same kicker amp that is 1000 watts will push you speakers harder.

I need help choosing an amp for this sub. Its going into a sealed box. I only want to get like a 500w nothing higher then that. And whats the difference between mono, and 2 channel amps, etc.. Also when hooking my sub up to the amp, can you wire your speakers to the amp as well?Heres the specs...
