    my japanese cell phone seems to be a bit unusual.?

    I was given a japanese cell phone that has 050 instead of 090 for the first 3 three digits of the phone number, and I am wondering why it works. I have always thought all japanese cell phone numbers have 090 for the prefix. Can anyone tell me anything about this puzzle?

    Bit torrent question??????????

    I want to switch off my computer but the download is still going on. Although I am aware of the 'Shut down when downloads complete' feature, I don't want to use it. I was wondering that if I just pause the download and switch my computer off and when I switch it on again can I resume the download?
