I just got the captivate today (by the way, great phone, love it) and I was wondering how you could get it so that when a message comes in, it vibrates. Because right now I have it on the silent mode but calls come in on vibrate and I'm wondering how messages can come in on vibrate as well.

This Is really Important to me. I only like to use the Numeric Keypad in Portrait Mode. And the SMS should be the Normal view, not the Threaded. Can we Change the qwerty in portrait to Numeric, and can we turn the Threaded view to Normal?... These things matter alot, if this phones not offering...

my husband and i can not figure out how to do this. we want to purchase ringtones from att but when it asks for the type of phone you have, it doesnt list our phones as an option. please tell me there is a simple way to do this. we dont want the preloaded ringtones, we want something else.
I've had this phone for a few weeks now and the guy in the store did a software update and it worked fine, but every time I do it now here at home it says connection has failed or something like that and the update never goes through. Time after time it is the same message.

So I had this phone for about a month now and I will get a ringtone and set it as my main ringer and then a coupe days later it will stop working. Then when I try to set it back as my ringtone it wont work. Idk if im doing it wrong. How can I fix this. Its like this with every ringtone I get.
