Is there anyway to recover deleted text messages from the iPhone3

Once you clear histroy from text messages and browser, is there any way the company can go back and get it for the next bill or is it gone for sure?

I'm getting my android Motorola milestone flashed to cricket when I get that done will the flashing delete all my Apps also will it delete my contacts and if I don't get it "fully flashed" and just semi flashed that means just enough to get it turned on what wont work?
