    Why doesnt my directv reciever respond to my remote?

    I have the most basic receiver and remote. I programmed the remote to my xbox so I could watch movies and the receiver stopped working. I already checked the batteries too. I remember changing something from receiver to av 1 or av 2 in the program settings and it stopped working.

    DirecTV starz hd channels playing all the same movie?

    All the SD channels are playing what the guide says should be playing but all the HD channels keep showing the wrong movie and its the same movie on every Starz channel. Any idea what i could do to fix it? or what could be wrong? i'd call but i think its too late so i'd have to wait till...
