my dvd-rw driver keeps disappearing from my computer, i would restart the pc then it shows up again after usage. Is there a setting that is forcing this to do this? i have checked the power cables in the back of the pc all are ok as its a recently new machine altogether how do i disable this...

So I formatted a DVD-RW by right-clicking on the drive and selecting format.But now it says that there's only 576 MB free when the disc originally had 4.7 GB. Is there any way I can format it to get the full capacity of the disc back?

I just burned a movie to a DVD-RW from Imation with ConvertXToDVD. The CD works on my laptop but it won't play on my DVD-Player... it just tells me "No Disc" or "Stop". And yes, I've cleaned the CD two times with no effect.
