I don't believe fish can go inside dams because people would be smart enough not to let that happen. they probably put nettings in front of the damn opening. if fish were to get killed all the time the turbines would probably jam, break or wear out. am I right?
While I was washing the salmon my mom brought home from the market today, it gave off this really bad smell. I wasn't entirely sure if it really was rotten fish so I decided to bake it in the oven thinking it would kill off the bacteria and everything. When it came out of the oven, it turned out...
Hi, I'm looking to buy a couple freshwater hybrid/cross bred fish. I've looked all over and can't find any store (I know may be highly unlikely) or anyone to buy from. I would prefer smaller hybrid fish. Thanks for any help!
I'm trying to save money and one of the ways I'm doing this is by cutting back on buying food. So I told my wife to go out to the lake while I'm at work to catch some fish for us to eat from now on. she's not very good at it though. Everytime I come home from work she only has a few very tiny...

Okay there's this guy that I really like and he's having his birthday party this Saturday. I want to get him something kind of funky and unique, so would a fish be a good gift? I was thinking of a cute little betta because they're low maintenance, but not boring. I would also be getting him...
Checked my pof account and that someone added me to their favorites, but not sure how I should take it. They haven't contacted me, so I'm wondering if I should wait or just send them a message. Any advice?
So, I have 3 young 1 - 1.5 inch angelfish and two 1.5 inch cory catfish in my 55 gallon tank right now. Would I be able to add an eclipse catfish to this tank. It has sand as a substrate, lots of live plants, and a pretty large rock structure that the cory catfish dont really hide in.
Thanks :)
