I've always wondered that...it's kinda tricky, isn't it? They are surrounded by water all the time, but is that enough or they need also to drink as all the other creatures do?

in the back of my aquarium salt it says 1 tablespoon per 5 gallons, but i have a common pleco, senegal bichir, african ghost knife fish, so can they all tolerate salt? and how much of it?, will it be good for the ghost knife fish ( it is a BROWN one not the HUGE BLACK one).

im not exactly sure but i did gave a friend who had great success with his bichir with some of the smaller fish(until the bichir died)... i think he even gad a pair of swordtails in there also.
