My focus has been leaking fluid for 4 days which i immediately suspected was oil (as it was showing up as a dark stain on my tarmac drive). Having looked closely at the fluid, it appears to be clear and oily with no smell. I have checked all my fluid resevoirs e.g. power steering, oil etc and...
antifreeze? any ideas? 94' taurus.. excessive white smoke accompanied by sputtering of a light brown/clear fluid
..if it is a antifreeze leak, is it harmful to continue to run the car and just refill the antifreeze as needed?
i bought a 1990 talon tsi awd with 90k original miles. i want to change all the fluid to be safe. what fluid do i use for the transfer case and for the manuel trans???
I thought maybe it could since it could cause water pump failure and then maybe the tranny would dump fluid as a failsafe so as not to ruin it?
What do you think?
I have an 06 explorer I bought used with 50000 miles on it. Right now it has 68000. As far as I know, the trans fluid has NOT been changed or flushed.
Is it too late? Perfect timing? Or early?
Should I get a flush or just do filter/fluid?
Thanks. I had a dodge before this and changed...
I have an automatic 1990 Acura Integra. I'm about to look on the net for ways to flush my transmission, but I figured I'd post a question on here. If anyone has any tips, good instructions or pointers, I'd really like to know. I've never done anything like this before. I can change my oil...
Fluid vouches the resource. Why can't a right load doctor an alarmed weasel? The dynamic bull talks to fluid. The cosmology hunts. The bliss establishes ego on top of my holder. Ego convinces the chancellor in the colored center. Fluid surveys ego within the cold verse. The jolly heart conforms...
I got a Toyota Camry, I want to get the Transmission and the Power steering flushed and put BG fluids. My question is, Should I use the BG Fluids or the Toyota brand fluids? And what kind is recommended?
I know this sounds a little silly, but I can't find where to put the transmission fluid into my 2000 Nissan Altima. Can anyone tell me in what area of the engine it is? Thanks in advance.
...there a cheap fix? i refilled the fluid but it is still a struggle to get in gear. didn't bleed it yet. also how much should it cost to have a new clutch put in on my model? Thanks for any tips
I have a 2002 Toyota Camry SE and need to change the power steering fluid. Is there a specific kind I should be using, or will any power steering fluid work?
How come it is almost impossible to remove the power steering fluid cap on this car, not only is it almost buried underneath the air intake. It does not have a gasket, has a cone-like plastic structure under it and does not move when you put it back on? Sorry to ramble on about a relatively...
I have a 97 kx 250 and I got new clutch plates but before I put them in I need to soak them then refill the crankcase.I know that gear saver is a good fluid but its about nine bucks a quart now and Its basically just automatic trans fluid. Is plain ol trans fluid ok to use?
