jailbreaking

Right so like most people, normal SMS tones are abit lame! Do any of you know how to get custom or other ones on the phone? you can get custom ringtones :D but not SMS tones :(

I bought an already unlocked iPhone 3G with firmware. How do I jailbreak ? According to this video : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qDDEN3zfQOg If my phone has been unlocked using yellosn0w then I shouldnt jailbreak using redsn0w ? But i don't know what it's been unlocked with so what do I do ?

I have the older iPhone and want to jailbreak it.. I've used iliberty but thought there might be something better now.. I want a program that won't change my bootloader and the other important stuff

I just bought my iphone and it says its already 2.2.1, so i downloaded quickpwn and the FW 2.2.1 for 3G and it says its its doesnt support it or its a corrupt file. I tried many sites given from youtube, but none work. What am i doing wrong? Help and i dont want to downgrade

i'm trying to "jailbreak" my iphone 3g! i already downloaded the Quickpwn and the firmware. the problem is that when i get to the part on "browse for firmwear" on the quickpwn, it finds the firmware but at the bottom is says "firmware error string". I downloaded Quickpwn and ran it with my ipod plugged in, it says it can't locate the firmware and to download it from itunes, and when I go to itunes it says I already have the most recent update (2.2.1). I am using a mac if that makes a difference. thanks in advance
