Hi,
I have designed some labels for a friend using Illustrator that included a high res photo of him and some logos grabbed off the internet.
I found that the resolution of the logos was heavily compromised in Illustrator, but I chose to use Illustrator as there was a lot of text involved...
What do you address you significant other as when introducing them to someone? Lover? Partner? Wife? Girlfriend?
Personally, I hate the words "lover" and "partner", but i'm a 16 year old virgin, what the hell do I know?!
I have full face printable DVDs and I want to apply printable DVD labels to them with an easy applicator that gets the labels centered. I have looked to see if there were any label applicators the would be able to apply full face labels, and I have had no luck. Any suggestions?
Apparently there is a huge difference in the number of calories noted on the labels of e.g. 80/20 and 96/4 ground beef. But if you cook the 80/20 ground beef and drain away the grease (or at least as much as possible), shouldn't the amount of calories go down? If calorie content noted on the...

I get a bit confused, because usually people say men can be gay, and women can be lesbians. So is there a reason why "gay" is usually refering to males?
I want to loose some weight in a healthy manner. Does any one have any tips on reading nutrition labels? Like how much carbs should I consume? Or how many grams of fat I should eat?
Little bit of a rant here? Okay I know this is weird but I'm just wondering.
Whenever I go anywhere and see a shirt I think is cute I will most likely buy it.
Whether it's at the mall or at the thrift store!!
Is this so bad? It's not like all the clothes at the thrift store are ugly. You can...
I have been watching my calorie, fat, sugar, and sodium intake. I have just read that a 1g carb = 4 cals, 1g sugar = 4 cals, and 1g protein = 4 cals. Do those carbs, sugars, and protein turn into calories ONLY if you go over the daily allowance? I'm on a 1,800 calorie diet. Lets say I eat 30g's...

We just learned about the Campaign for Safe Cosmetics product labeling debate, and it turns out that the Center for Science in the Public Interest is pushing for reform in the way the nutrition information in food is displayed. The center wants to adjust nutrition labels to more clearly show ...
I've read a bit on fiber and have learned that insoluble fiber, as it is not digested by the body, yields no energy whatsoever, and soluble fiber yields only a small amount. However, both are always listed under 'carbohydrates', which are quantified as having 4 calories per gram. Many of the...
Label directions for using some household pesticides are written in a way that may leave consumers with the impression that "if a little is good, more is better," according to a study presented at the 239th National Meeting of the American Chemical Society (ACS). As a result, consumers may use...
