My uncle has bought his son an ipad for xmas without his knowing, but since this his laptop has broke beyond repair, so he has ordered his a netbook? Isn't an ipad basically the same thing but 'jazzier'? Is there much difference to warrant a £350 purchase until xmas? any advice would be great...

i'm looking at this netbook to buy but i know that netbooks don't have a spot to insert dvd or cd's but i was wondering if there was an accesory that you could buy to convert them.....
