I am just getting used to Newsgroups, but my current provider only has a 7 day retention rate. Does anyone know of any newsgroups that offer a much larger date?? Ideally I want it to be a free one at first, but when I am used to it will then move on to a chargable one.

A few years ago, When I was with Earthlink and used Outlook Express, I was able to sign up for newsgroups. I haven't checked them out of ages. Most of this was on my old computer, and linked to Earthlink.net. and I'm no longer with them, and am with RoadRunner now. I'm wondering if I can set up...

there used to be plenty..now they seem to be hidden; can anyone help me out? also any bit torrent sites that don't charge wold be swell too. thanks
