my Samsung Omnia hasn't been charged for a while(flat battery) but when I went to charge it the red light came on for a second and then nothing happened. I tried taking the battery out and putting it back in but that didn't help. It simply just wont charge.

I'm buying a mobile next week and I'm allowed to choose whatever I want, no matter the price. Therefore, I've shortened my list to these two mobiles. So which one in your opinion do you think is better overall and WHY? (Samsung HD Icon or Omnia Icon?) The price does not matter.

Well with Verizon Wireless in the United States it's $199 with a new 2-year contract. Plus this requires a data plan.
Otherwise it's around $499 for one without a contract.

I really like the droid because of power and the fact that Facebook games are coming soon but the Omnia 2 offers MS Word and an e-book reader unfortunately on a machine with a lot less performance.

Ok here's the question. How can I get ringtones on my Samsung Omnia? I just can't seem to find I way to make songs a ringtone. I love the phone but I hate the fact that it seems like I'm stuck with the ringtones that come with the phone.
I want a phone that I can have fun with and has a lot of features, but isn't slow. Preferably a touchscreen but blackberry is supposed to be really good. Is the samsung laggy? And no i DON'T want an Iphone.
