I know the church of Jerusalem is the oldest center of Christianity. With the exception of Jerusalem, which historic center(s) of Christianity carry more weight and why? Rome, Antioch, or Alexandria? Roman Catholics, don't respond with the Petrine argument, since Saint Peter also was...
by 'intercession of saints"? Protestant revolution was not the origin of protestantism. The first protestant church was the apostolic church. (the church depicted in new testament do not pray to "saints" or use statues\images in prayer worship.) Thus it was protestant in essence.
Later in 4th...
I am going to a synogouge and I am so inspired by Jewish Culture and rituals , I still believe that Jesus was the jewish messiah and therefore I am not going to ask the rabbi to put me in a conversion process , he has told be that in order to live fully like a jew , I dont have to officially...

I have for years. I long to live a Jewish life. Although I know it is possible to convert if you're sincere, I don't believe I will be accepted. I don't blame anyone for this as it's only logical since I would have no Jewish family, and no ties to the orthodox Jewish community. Is my desire to...

Dioceses'/Eparchies? I've heard of situations, where an orthodox priest has left due to church politics and was granted permission by the local bishop to concelebrate with a catholic, melkite church. What are the situations that can happen along these lines? What's possible and what isn't?
