...same power? I'm thinking about getting two 12'' alpine type xs and the amp i have is the new hifonics bxi-2008d 2000 watt rms. Will the amp i have produce 1000 watt rms to each sub??
I was looking batteries and there were different amps i didnt think it drew from the battery but mainly from the alternator....... If i get a 660 amp battery will it have any bad effects upon the car such as stalling due to such a large capacity? Thanks is a 660 amp battery worth $135 ? tHANKS
In my sound system that I am going to buy in the near future
will either have 800 watts rms, or if I go another route it will be 1400 watts rms. Is this too much? Or will it just make me be heard across town? (thats what I want)
...has 60 rms. Will these sound good? Polk Audio Db 571 & Polk Audio Db 351. I have a 2003 VW Passat and it has a premium sound system but i already have a 12" sub with a pretty good amp in the back. The sub is pretty powerful. Will these speakers sound clear and have good bass?
This is not total wattage.
What RMS is is the continuous power being sent. That's why when purchasing audio, amplifiers, stuff like this, we go off of continuous power because it's what it will always be taking. It will rarely ever hit it's total or maxx wattage.
