I have no idea why they changed it, but I want my SciFi back! The majority of the shows on the Syfi are not science fiction, but mostly horror or silly things.
A new Stargate or Trek or somewhere in the deep galaxy that we can dream about would be nice.
three teenagers who piloted mechs? for extra details, they had a cool starship too, were on the run from aliens, had one of those aliens as an ally on their ship, and this odd three legged alien animal aboard called a Galoose (not sure how to spell it correctly, it kinda resembled a cross...

If you don't know what old-hat is, it's old-school stuff. Think of reading a new novel that's nothing more than a 1980s sci-fi movie - nothing new and very old shet type technology because apparently the author is unimaginative. *rolls eyes*
What do you think of sci-fi with old-hat technology...
I am looking for a new series to read. I hate starting books and waiting for them to be completed, so I would like series that are already finished or about to be finished within the year. I enjoyed the Mortal Instruments series but I am extremely impatient for the final books to be released...
from 2000 to 2010. I'm looking for one in particular that had three main characters, a teenage girl and boy, and an older brother?
It wasn't an average sort of anime, in that the characters never transformed into fighting machines if you will. It had an off-kilter comedy. The wise older brother...
"THE MAGIC ROCK THAT CAME ALIVE"
....should I keep it in the sci-fi children's section? Or would I be able to make it believable enough to call it a cheap novel.
Okay so I'm looking for some good science fiction movies. I've watched two recently that I loved (Cube, Collision Earth). Does anybody know any movies like those that are pretty good? And yes, I've seen the two sequels to Cube.
Thanks for the lists guys!! I've seen a few that you mentioned and...
Cant seem to remember the name, but I thought it was "The Butterfly Effect", but when I read the online summary, turns out it wasn't what I expected.
So, it starts out with a little boy sitting in a car with his mom, and suddenly they get into car crash, and his mom dies, but he lives. He has...
what was this show on sci-fi called?
Contestants were locked in a room in the huge mansion and they had to find a key in the room to get out and during this process they had to get money and they would be in the attic, the graveyard..etc. and the last 2 people left were locked in the vault...
When the future technology is nothing new. I mean, flying cars and holograms, for example and other "future" technology that you can find in every other sci-fi book.
I recently read a sci-fi that offered nothing new in technology. It didn't distract from the story for me, but it's something I...
It's an old book, like 1970+ i don't remember the name or much about it except it was about a young scientist and hes working on some red slime thing to dissolve trash (or something like that") and he knocks it into the drain, and it causes havoc in the area he lives in, destroying everything...
Please list multiple ones as I have seen a decent amount, Thanks in advance.
Oh and if you didn't realize that Cobb's real totem in Inception was his wife's wedding ring and not the spinning top, please don't answer, I want movies that will REALLY make someone who is intellectual think. I need...
I watched the start of this movie several years ago and now can't remember the name. It was not animated. It started where an astronaut dies when the shuttle he and two others are piloting back to earth burns up while reentering the earths atmosphere. He then wakes up in a bubble in a lake to...
I saw this Movie when I was a kid in the 90s so the detail are a little fuzzy. All I remember is there was this machine in this guys attic that when turned on allowed these aliens from another dimension to come to our dimension. Most of the aliens were flying worms that bit who ever got to close...
It used to be a free e-book on barnes & nobles, I believe, but now I can't find it:\
Main parts:
apparently, civilization has moved...UP. pretty much built a city above the original city. Only the "elite" (rich) or ones that could provide a necessity were able to move up. everyone else is...
I'm writing a story that takes place in July of 19755. It's about a 15 year old named Josh Mazer. He and his 5 friends Mel "Mallory" (15 years old), Cary (13 years old), Dee "Dennis" (16 years old) & Riley (15 years old) are making a movie and after a night of fun they meet IT. One night the 5...
