My girlfriend has a Motorola Charm, and even when she turns it to vibrate, when she receives a text message it doesn't vibrate, so she has to put it on ring, and listen for it. well if you take your phone out the first time it vibrates and press a button it wont vibrate 3 times.... but i dont know if you can actually change it from 3 to 1.
