cable box (I have cable R2S2)? I have a viewsat lite cable box and want to update the programming but I'm using R2S2 cable to connect (hardware) computer to cable box? What do I need to do to make the computer recognize the connection and send the data?

My view sat VS2000 box is showing 3 L's like this "LLL".What does this mean and how can I fix this?

So...I have no idea how anything works for the VS 2000 Ultra. From what I understand you put fixes on the USB thingy and then into the receiver? Right now there are no channels. So what am I suppose to do now?? Where do I get these fixes?? Thanks so much! I have no idea how to work this...

I dont have cable but have the viewsat dish thing....i was looking forward to watching american idol all week and when I flip through the channels I can not find FOX. Please help me, if you have the viewsat...please let me know whether you can watch american idol on it and on which channel?

My Viewsat remote and additional universal remote controls stopped functioning with my receiver. Installed new batteries in both remotes, still would not respond. What can I do to re-program the remote or receiver box to make remotes operate again.

Ok, I've bought a Viewsat Ultra Lite. I have a Dish 500 LNB that picks up 110 and 119. I have good signal & quality. However, when I do a channel scan, It says "locked" in the lower left corner. I'm starting to get frustrated!!!!!!!!!!!! Any help would be great. Thanks!!

lnb it works with? ? i have a dp lnb will it work the software says standard and universal please help...i have a dish 500. thank you for any kind of help.

femal to femal adpter work? i can't get the program to load in my box i have the com port set and i hit PC>STB on loader2 then i flip the switch on "STB" and it still won't load. could this be from having the wrong cable. ( the adapter is aDB9)

i have a FTA receiver called viewsat ultra and its frozen. i called the viewsat company they told me that its a close but if u load the factory bin in there it should work. but for some reason my viewsat doesn't program wit the rs232 cable. is there anyway i can make it work?
