I'm looking at an electric scooter. It says the power is 350 watts. However, it says the "output" is 600 watts. What is the difference? Which one is the main "watts"? Thanks.
In my sound system that I am going to buy in the near future
will either have 800 watts rms, or if I go another route it will be 1400 watts rms. Is this too much? Or will it just make me be heard across town? (thats what I want)
...where's the best place to buy an amp? it's not a car system, and the only amps i can seem to find are for car systems. it's a home stereo and i'm wondering where i can get a cheap/effective amp to power my system...
thanks!
This is not total wattage.
What RMS is is the continuous power being sent. That's why when purchasing audio, amplifiers, stuff like this, we go off of continuous power because it's what it will always be taking. It will rarely ever hit it's total or maxx wattage.
