Casca Longinus: it uses system codecs?

I have downloaded XviD and all of its components, yet every time I try to watch a movie online it tells me that I have to have XviD installed in order to watch. I thought maybe I hadn't installed it correctly before, so I tried downloading it from the link provided on the page and nothing...

I've just changed from 10 to 30 meg and installed a netgear modem, but now my samsung tv is saying files not surported, when five mins befors the tv opened them perfectly, any ideas??????

The ads on upper right side on MSN and some other sites change over to a false flash ad that says, "you are missing the plugin to play this video" it says something about Xvid, then I also get an ad that looks like a facebook chat window, says Hi my name is Jenna wanna chat...".... etc...

This xvid video codec will not uninstall! I dont know which version it is. Its either 1.3.1 or 1.3.2 i guess. its by Xvid Team. When i go to the control panel nd try to uninstall it, a black box pops up with a blinking cursor in it. It looks like a command prompt box but it won't let me type...
