My cruise control can be set below 80km/hr but as soon as you accelerate above that, it shuts off. Is there a way to fix this so I can use cruise on the highway. It does it in all conditions of weather not just slippery. It does it all the time and stops working exactly at 80 even if I use the accelerate button on the steering wheel.
Can it actually be set with a scan tool or is it a wheel sensor or what?

I know about the slippery conditions thing thanks, my mother told me that umpteen years ago. I said that so people don't think its a weather control feature.
so can the "Dodge scan tool" adjust the setting then or not? If not then how are they setting it without a scan tool?
Can noone tell me how they do it? Or is it a big secret??
