2012 charger, I've recently left the military and have a load of money to play with, the charger srt8 I purchased, was purchased with a check. I want to modify it to 1000 hp, and street legal, How can I do so while still maintaining a good handling car? Is this possible with natural aspiration?

You can't. NASCAR engines put out almost 1,000 hp but the engines have modified to run at 10,000 RPM. That means blueprinting and balancing it, and replacing just about every moving part with racing parts made of high strength super alloys. They might be street legal but they idle at about 2,500 so it's really not street drivable. Also, I hope your load of money amounts to $100,000+ because that's what a NASCAR engine will cost you.

I don't think you can get 1000 horsepower with a natural aspiration. You're going to have to twin-turbocharge the car and even then, it's gonna be difficult to get it up to 1000. It's certainly possible though with the right parts and skill.
