13-inch macbook wireless internet guide/help.?

i got a 13-inch mac... i heard that it has a built in wireless thingy...
i really really want to use the internet everywhere and anywhere
soo i'm wondering if i need to buy those airport extreme/express OR stick with my AT&t modem because i have a desktop using that modem. what should i use and which one is better? what do i need?
1. if i do stick with my modem... will it still let me use the internet anywhere unlimited not just around the house.

2. if i do use the airport stuff... what happens to my modem. and what service would i be using now (no more att?) i'm confused.

help!!!

like those people i see in the library they could use youtube and those other stuff. all they do is plug in the charger.

i have the 13 inch macbook too
and I use an internet modem

but it only works when you are in/near your house.

however, wherever i go, there is always an internet connection called "linksys" sometimes I get a good connection, sometimes its only like 1 bar and takes forever to load. It does not work on the freeway/in the car obviously

yeah you should AT&T , it works well for me.

hope this helped.

and im not sure about that charger thing youre talking about where you can service whereever you go, but go to the apple store and see what they have to say
