I installed a 12v after market Voltage regulator in my Vw beetle yesterday I think i got all the wiring right but.... when i start the car my generator light is on and my battery light is on they dont turn off when i start the car, they never used to do that before i just had to change out the old voltage regulator cuz it was shot. I have two wires that are not plugged in to the regulator and they are both red, but one is bigger then the other and is red and white.. Idk what to do PLease help. after running the car for a little while then turning it off the battery is completely dead.
