Quote from Ammco "you need a new timing belt"

$800+ fucking dollars...

i know labor for this shit costs alot

but $780 for labor?

what the fuck

should i just kill everyone at ammco including myself and call it good?

Kind of harsh killing everyone! Actual costs may vary 19 year old truck can have many worn out parts under that timing cover that will not see another 60,000 miles. Ignore the belt it breaks and you have bent all the intake valves and your VG-30 engine is junk. So like this 3.5 hours to replace only the timing belt add .5 hour each engine seal 2 cam one crank seals. Replace water pump add one hour. Other wear items top radiator hose bottom Radiator hose thermostat three fan belts replace that leaky Power steering hoses too .5 to 1.5. Idler pulleys both timing belt and drive belts? Any way it gets expensive and if you want the job done right see your Nissan Dealer or a qualified Service center. Keeping in mind your best chance of having the correct parts is the dealership. Even if the total job costs $1,500 the alternative is buying a new truck.
