1995 Dodge Wagon v8 Speedometer isnt working.?

Ok i got a dodge 1995 Wagaon v8 engine and the speedometer isnt working. I took apart the dash to check it out and the harness is working fine. It's Reading Miles as i move on the trip mileage and the overall mileage is working fine which is above the speedometer. The speedometer just isnt moving. What should i do and at what point should i go to a mechainic. Also their seem to be something wrong with the radio i took it apart and plugged and unplugged, but it works only when it feels like it. by work i mean just a dash on the LED panel of the radio. It may and most likely be age but idk.

Everything works on it, except the speedometer.... THE ABS\Air bag lights, oil, temp and batter gage runs well. The lights does also.

Any ideas and if you know the van well, it would help if you could describe locations.
checked all the fuses non are damaged

i believe this model has a seperate cable for the speedometer that is synchronized with the odometer...climb up under your van and check up towards the front of your transmission and if you see a cable with a square type end on it just plug it into your transmission where it goes and that should do it...if that doesn't work you may consult a mechanic or get a kit to install a new guage yourself for a decent price.
