1997 Volvo 960. My Check Eng.light came on and blinking arrow sign. The

Summer,Winter, Everyday flashes. ? I drive a 1997 Volvo 960 Model and today my check engine light came on along with a upwards pointing arrow light. I also noticed that my Winter, Summer and Everyday driving buttons above the shifter were blinking. Can I still drive it or should I have it towed to a Repair shop. Please help.

Take it to the shop you don't want to take the risk of getting stranded somewhere if it breaks down. Those lights can come on for minor thing however you never know when its something serious.

You've got a solenoid or wiring fault in the transmission. It will be OK to drive to a service shop.
