My 97 Jetta is "running" terrible. the reason for the quotations is it will barely start. I have replaced plugs and am about to do wires. Its running bad enough that i know something else is wrong. Have replaced ignition module. So i believe that the ignition system is fine although the cap and rotor don't look so good. I am getting fire in all four wires and plugs. I found a light coating of oil in the intake. I have racked my brain and need some more ideas. Also i don' t know how loud the fuel pump is but i hear nothing could this be the problem?
