corners it grabs hard re-accelerating? Not sure if this is really a problem or not but heres what it's doing:
-After slowing down from a faster speed then pressing the gas down, it seems like there is a slight delay then it will "grab hard" and push me forward (when it grabs hard the rpms shoot up to accelerate the car).
-Doesn't do it all the time: If i accelerate from a complete stop it won't do it at all (grab hard and lunge forward), even if i press the gas down hard it will gradually shift its way up the gears in a smooth fashion.
-There is no slipping that I have noticed.
-It is a 2000 automatic Civic sedan with 125,000 miles on it (original tranny and motor). I've owned the car for 4 years and it seems like its always done this-but at the same time always kept that worry in the back of my mind that there was something wrong with it. I just checked the fluid and its a healthy bright red color still. I've had regular transmission fluid changes done every 40,000 miles from my local Honda dealership. Should I take it to a transmission shop or is this just normal sounds from "normal wear" for a 9 year old vehichle? Appreciate your input.
