2000 Nissan Frontier XE V6 Left Side Wheel Hub Leaking Grease?

My left side wheel hub is leaking grease. I had this same problem repaired about three years ago and have never had a problem with the right hub during this and I have had the truck since new. I need to make a 500 mile round trip and I will be pulling a small 6' x 14' foot trailer loaded with two pallets weighing a total of about 400 pounds on the way back. Will this be a problem? This grease is leaking slowly but I can smell it after I have driven for some time. Can I make it?
 
if you can smell it (and the fact its leaking out) sounds like the bearings are overheating and liquifying the grease. i would have it looked at before a long trip.
