Ok! so I purchased this car several weeks ago from one of my fathers friends who got it at an auction. The car has 80K and the insurance company totaled it in 2006 with major front damage. The car was rebuilt and then sold at the auction where I got it. This car runs like a charm with tons of power and drives smooth. Here in Texas the car must pass an inspection and emissions test. Needless to say it failed. So I took it to my mechanic who I know personally and has a well known shop. The mechanic told me the wires that lead to the sensors were cut and spliced. So he was needing to re-wire and add some sensors. He replaced REAR TOP HO2's, REVOLUTION SENSOR, RE-ROUTED P1130 VAC HOSES AND TESTED SOLENOIDS. The total cost was $656 which he gave me a deal for $450. So with all this said, The car passed the inspection but now makes a noise when I turn while driving. It sounds identical to a power steering issue. I checked the fluid and its ok, Nothing leaks.. I was almost certain I needed to add fluid, but everything is fine.. When I turn it makes that noise as if it were low on fluid.. Does anyone know what might be the issue... I just got the car back on 2-13-09 and today is 2-14-09..
