The License Plate Light Bulbs are out the illuminate the plate. However the problem is that when you try to replace the Bullbs there are 2 Screws where the lights are that remove and a Dead Bolt that stops you from pulling the plastic cover off....How does someone get it off to replace the light bulb.....

Its like trying to break into a Bank Vault t replace a light can somene help please?

My MBz E-320 has no illumination for the front Licence Plate. The rear License Plate has two lights, each with a clear plastic lens with two screws. Remove the two screws and the lens will pop right off. The one inch Festune bulb uses about 5 Watts and has no Dead Bolt holding it in place.
