I just purchased a 2004 Passat with the 1.8T engine. I noticed that I was a little low on coolant and I added about half a quart (maybe even a little less) of the traditional green coolant used on most cars. I have know found out that my car uses a special VW coolant called G12. I am concerned about damage to my car because of this small amount of typical coolant mixed in. Should I rush my car in to get the coolant drained or is this something than can I can wait on until I get an oil change again in about a month?
