...new from dealship cadilac? the mileage is 60k.

just had a full tune up last month at Martin Cadillac. And today I go to start it and it makes a clicking noise ={ like "click click". Thing is the battery is new and after my 4-5th try, it started.

Could it be that a wire connected to battery is loose? thats what my uncle said , The dealership didnt mention starter problems, so i'm sure its not the starter ={

please help

could be a poor battery connection. need to get a battery brush about $1 and clean connections to battery as well as battery grounding wire. If still a problem have battery tested for free at an auto zone or similar, as you battery may have discharged due to short or bad charging system, all of which can be tested for free. if all OK could be starter or starter relay

Either the battery terminals are loose or the battery is bad. A bad starter won't make a clicking noise. Just because something is new does not mean it can't go bad
