2006-2008 BMW 3 Series vs 2007-08 Acura TL Type S?

Im looking for my first car. Which has higher insurance, more space, better looking, less common, faster, etc. Im 16 but my parents have left me $25000 to get a car. Insurace does matter but they said theyll take any of these cars. Whichever one has cheaper insurance. Id prefer the Type S so if the insurance is higher on the Type S, ill have some real convincing to do
 
Don't forget about tuners, Like an Evo or STI or something along those lines. For that money finding one of those would be easy, plus they're faster then the acura at lease. But even if you go BMW, look at the 1 series. They're very nice. A guy i know just totaled his while drifting it in his neighborhood (back wheels hit grass), but he said it was fast and I've only seen maybe 2 or 3 where I live, and I'm surrounded by aston martins, porsches, ferraris, and rolls royces.
