2007 Kia Spectra EX for 9000, good deal?

I was looking to buy a new car. I found this car with a Honda dealer. It has 35,000 miles on it. I knew it was a rental car before I did a test drive. But as long as it is around that miles I don't really care.
I want to know if the car is a good deal? or just getting a junk car to throw away after 3-4 years.
My parent concern is whether the kia is going to have more complaints once it hits 50-75K miles.

I have seen very mixed reviews. Some poeple either really seem to like it...or just hates it very much.
 
no is not a good deal you can get a new kia or hyunday for about 2 to 3 more k ... plus the way the economy is now you can almost get a new ford focus for about 13k which w/be a waaaaay better car than the kia.

i say pass on it.
 
book value is about 9500, but consider the model is on the bottom of the totem pole as far as re-sale, maintenance and overall investment

for your money, buy a 04 toyota corolla with the same mileage and you will have made a better decision
