300 Win mag for hunting deer and black and brown bear defense.?

What about useing the 300 win mag for black and brown bear defense? If the range is less than 200 meters. Will the 300 do good with heavy loads? Or just use a 338 or 375? Iwill be hunting deer and elk maybe a moose later on. Thanks
