do you think its worth buying for $500- it has 202,000 miles

the mileage isnt an issue, test drive it, listen for a clicking or clunking noise from the front wheels, if you hear that noise its probably a bad cv axle ($200-$400) for repairs. Ask when the timing belt was changed. If they dont know when you'll want to replace that before too long ($700) to replaced, although if it breaks not only will you be stranded but the engine will more than likely be shot after that, check the tread on the tires, is the exhaust loud, how bad is the rust on the rear fenders (common spot for rust on honda) and does the engine sound smooth or does it run rough or make a ticking noise. it could be a deal, but it could also be a nightmare if it has a lot of problems

if it runs and has no major issues, id say go for it, you are not going to find much cheaper

I love owning HONDA and I work on them everyday! You may want to consider getting it looked at by someone who has some knowledge on cars cause even a average condition or less honda with that mileage brings more than $500.00 unless it has some issues! Nothing would be worse than spending $500.00 dollars on a car to find out you need to spend another $1000.00 to make it "almost right"! Your looking at the right car line "maybe" not the right car.GOOD LUCK

yes they are good cars you could get another 30,000 miles if it was well taken care of
